I dont use PLA never, on any tank.
Its strong, but brittle material.Not flexible at all.
Definitely not suitable for Hetzer suspension springs or Cromwell turret motor holder.
Printed parts looks nice.Its very easy to print with PLA, there is no warping at all.
Thats great.
My biggest problem is very low glass transition temperature of PLA.
Tank printed with PLA can be melted on the direct sun.
We have moderate temperatures here in Slovakia, and my first RC tank was melted.
It was summer, less than 40°C.Tank was on the table with another (not 3D printed) tanks.On the direct sun.
Spent almost one year building this tank.
I think you can spent even 4 months printing and building every Warprints tank.
PLA is easy to print and its cheap, but i guess that you dont want to get your tank warped.
You can say - i will keep my tank safe.I am not going to direct sun.
But i dont want to guard the tank from the sun.
I want to use them same way like any other RC tank.
